The dry red wine from the Venec winery is made from the Merlot variety from its own vineyards. This wood-aged wine is characterized by a deep dark red color with a violet hue and aromas of peonies, red and dark berries and coffee beans. It is an elegant, full-bodied wine with tame tannins and a long spicy finish.

The Venec Cabernet Sauvignon from the Single Block line is the middle segment of Venec Winery. These wines are a little less complicated, but very pure. 

Venec Winery's Merlot has won Decanter's bronze award at the 2019 World Wine Awards.
