Bovin

Bovin Winery is the first private winery in Macedonia, founded in 1998. In that year the company produced 120,000 bottles of high-quality white and red wines. These wines were presented at the Agro-Expo Fair in Skopje in 1999 and 2000, where the wine “Venus” won the champion title in the red wine category, and all other wines won gold medals. Bovin remained the champion for red wines at the Agro-Expo Fair for seven years in 2001, 2002 and 2003 with the wine “Dissan” and in 2004 and 2005 with the wine “Daron”.

This was the biggest award at the fair and a proof of the quality of Bovin wines. Bovin Winery also participated in the Belgrade fair “World of Wine” from 1999 to 2003, where it won grand gold medals and gold medals, becoming the overall winner of the fair. The greatest achievement of the winery was achieved at the “Food and Wine” Fair 2000 in Copenhagen, Denmark, where the wine “Pinot Noir” was declared the absolute winner – Grand Prix, in a competition with more than 650 types of wines from France, Spain, Italy, Chile, Argentina, California, South Africa and other countries.

• 1998 : First year of production with 120,000 bottles of high-quality white and red wines.
• 1999 : Second year, production of 250,000 bottles of white and red wines.
• 2000 : Third year, production of 500,000 bottles, with an annual growth to 1 million bottles of wine.
• 2001 : Under the leadership of the professional management team, this ambitious goal was achieved.
• 2010 : Investments in new wine equipment and fermentation tanks to continuously improve and innovate.
• 2023 : Bovin Winery's current total capacity is 1.5 million bottles of wine.
