Refund policy

Right of withdrawal (14 days)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason. Let us know via hallo@wijnhandelalexander.nl or by phone. After notifying us, you have another 14 days to return the items.

Conditions
Bottles must be unopened and undamaged, with the label and capsule intact, in the original packaging. For hygiene and excise-duty reasons, opened bottles cannot be accepted as a withdrawal return. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Corked or spoiled wine
Is a bottle corked (TCA) or is the wine clearly spoiled? You can only tell once it has been opened — and that is a product defect, not a withdrawal. Report it within 7 days of opening via hallo@wijnhandelalexander.nl, keep the bottle with the cork and the remaining contents, and we will send you a replacement bottle free of charge or refund the amount.

Return address
Wijnhandel Alexander, Fascinatio Boulevard 708, 2909 VA Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands. Never send anything back without contacting us first: we will send you instructions and, where needed, a return label.

Damage or incorrect delivery
Check your order upon receipt. Is a bottle broken, leaking or incorrectly delivered? Report it within 48 hours with a photo via hallo@wijnhandelalexander.nl. We will send a replacement bottle free of charge or refund the amount.

Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the return, we will refund the purchase amount (including the standard outbound shipping costs in the case of a full withdrawal) within 14 days via the original payment method.

Excluded from returns
Opened bottles without a product defect, personalised items (such as wine with a custom label) and gift cards.
