Župljanka
Župljanka: the fresh white pride of the Balkans
Župljanka is a white grape variety developed in Serbia by crossing Prokupac and Pinot Noir. The grape was officially recognised in 1970 and is grown mainly in the Serbian Fruška Gora region and in North Macedonia.
It is characterised by a high malic acid content, which produces wines with fresh, lively acidity. Župljanka yields refreshing white wines with a fine, understated aroma — ideal with seafood and light dishes.
